In order to avoid product damage and reduced quality, we do not ship our raclette night at home.

Please check out our collections and Cheese Club that are designed to survive the rigors of shipping.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to read the description of what is included. There is lots and you and your guests will be full.

What else should I serve: Traditionally this meal is served with boiled potatoes and greens. We prefer a sturdy kale salad with a nice acidic dressing because it balances the cheese.

What pairings are included: You will have different types of pickles and meats to choose from. We also encourage you to break out a favorite mustard from your fridge or jams to try with the raclette.

What if we have allergies? Please specify any allergies when ordering, and note that we process nuts and bread. Additionally, we use latex or vinyl gloves when plating food.

Is the tray compostable? Our Cheese Boards are made from wood and lined with food-grade wax paper. We tried a compostable board, but it fell apart on too many folks. So while we continue to look for the next best thing, we’re using our tried and true sturdy boards (that have now become popular nationwide - yes, we’ll take some credit for being originals!). Due to food service rules and health department standards, we cannot reuse cheese trays. However, you can! We often flip them over, put wax paper down, and serve right on them from home. Alternatively, bring them back to the Shop. We’re teaming up with a local school as a canvas-alternative, ready-to-hang piece of art to be painted or used for crafts.

For your convenience and to avoid wait times, online orders should be picked up at your selected time and location. For Hyde Park, visit our pickup window located in the alley behind Uncle Nicky's. For South Lamar please enter through the front door.

Is there a better way to gather together than with a Raclette cheese night?

Raclette is the name of the cheese, the machine, and the dish - which is a traditional Alpine meal that includes fireside melted cheese over an abundance of roasted or pickled vegetables, fresh baguettes, and cured meats. This meal has gathered people together since the 12th Century! "Raclette" comes from the French word "racler," meaning "to scrape," and refers to the action you'll take to create your perfect plate!

Serves 6-8 people, depending on additional offerings.

For $199 you'll receive the following :
*Rental of Raclette machine that fits 1/4 wheel of cheese. ($200 per machine replacement cost)
*Raclette knife rental ($40 replacement cost)
*Quarter wheel of raclette (2.5+ lbs)
*2 Cured Meats Platters (includes cured meats and pickled vegetables)
*1 Bread Platters (equal to two loaves)

AFTER PICKUP: click here to view two instruction videos on how best to enjoy.

*Link to John and Kendall Antonelli's 20-minute video tutorial on Raclette

After you pick up your supplies at our Cheese Shop Pickup Window, you can start setting up for your big night! Make sure to leave your cheese out at room temperature for 1-2 hours before serving - this will make it easier to melt. Set up your machine, lay out your trays, and pour yourself a glass of wine. It's that easy!

Your Raclette machine and knife are due back by Noon (12 p.m.) the following day. Do not clean them. Instead, return them dirty in the crate provided. We will immediately plug it in. If it works and there's no damage, great! If not, your card on file will be charged the amounts listed above and you can keep the machine. By renting, you agree to these terms.

So, who's ready to party? Whether you want to treat yourself, a sweetheart, or have a small safe gathering of close friends, a Raclette Party is the "whey" to go!

This item is NOT available to ship.

Have more than 6 folks? Then rent another kit! We have 5 machines in total.
